Futari
Grain Technology Services is a
privately owned, totally independent company, set up in Narrabri in
1995, to provide technical support and laboratory services to
the grain industry. Significant development since that time
has seen Futari's increased involvement in a wide range of specialist
services to industry.
The owners are proud of what their company has achieved in the
period of its operation, and are confident about the potential
for its future growth in all areas of
operation.

The
company was initially formed to provide technical support to
instrumentation used to measure specific grain
quality characteristics. The grain industry, particularly the
private trading sector, has been the major target of the
company. The activities of Futari Grain Technology Services
have extended into many quality related area of crop
management and commodity marketing and includes quality
certification of containerized product exported to Asia and
Middle Eastern Countries. |
| The Seed Testing service offered by Futari Grain
Technology Services, has developed into a major function
of the company, with a fully equipped laboratory,
capable of providing accurate, reliable results for seed
quality parameters such as germination, purity, vigour and weed
seed identification. The laboratory was granted NATA
accreditation, in the field of Biological Testing, in 1999, and also holds a number
of AQIS and ISTA
Sampling Accreditations. All testing is carried out
according to recognized industry standards. |

The Company now provides testing services
for a number of major national and international
grain trading organizations and associations. Futari Grain
Technology Services also plays an integral part in
the quality assurance systems in a number of seed
processing and grading plants, as well as
providing sampling and analysis and certification
services to grain export survey
requirements. |

Additional support to industry has been
given by Futari through the provision of grain
sampling, testing and quality assessment training to
those businesses with interests in grain receival,
storage and trading. As an integral part of an
overall quality assurance scheme, appropriate
training allows the flexibility and confidence in
product quality, therefore enhancing its overall
market value and end user confidence.
